Rivers State Chapter of the Nigeria Labour Congress, NLC, has ordered its members to sit-at-home from today, until government addresses the lingering fuel and cash scarcity in the state.

NLC State chairperson, Beatrice Itubo, noted that civil servants were directed to stay at home because the scarcity of fuel is affecting workers income.

The Chairperson stressed that their members were facing untold hardship and would not continue living in such a condition.
