Buhari Expresses Shock Over Killing of Nigerians in Burkina Faso

President Muhammadu Buhari has expressed shock over the murder of some Nigerian Muslim pilgrims in Burkina Faso.

Buhari, who disclosed this in a statement issued by his media aide, Garba Shehu, revealed that the buses conveying them came under gun attack in Burkina Faso.

According to the statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, through the Nigerian Embassy in Burkina Faso, is engaging with the Burkinabe authorities and awaits the result of their investigation of the unfortunate incident.

It added that the Federal Government would make efforts to secure the mortal remains of the deceased and the survivors of the attack.
