Ohaneze mourns Ikonne’s death

The apex Igbo Socio-cultural organization, Ohanaeze Ndigbo has expressed grief over the death of the governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in Abia State, Uche Ikonne.
Speaking on behalf of the organization, Secretary-General of Ohanaeze, Okechukwu Isiguzoro, extolled the exemplary and outstanding virtues of Ikonne while alive.
Isiguzoro commended the immense contributions, ideas, and uncommon roles of the late Professor in the medical profession, academic development, stability of the State, and the entire South East.
The Secretary consoled the Ikonne family, the PDP, the Government, and the people of the state on the shocking demise of this worthy Igbo Leader.
