Abia Court orders arrest of former minister

An Abia State Magistrate Court has convicted the immediate past Minister of State for Mines and Steel Development, Uche Ogah, for forgery.

Delivering judgment, the Presiding Magistrate Ngozi Nwangwa, ordered his arrest and committal to prison at any nearest Correctional Center in the state.

Magistrate Nwangwa ordered security agencies to arrest him any where he is found and keep him in the nearest correctional centre pending the day he would be brought to court for sentencing.

Enrique Resigns as Spain Coach

Luis Enrique has resigned his role as Spain Coach after they were knocked out of the World Cup by Morocco. Enrique took charge in 2018 and guided Spain to the Euro 2020 semi-finals, where they lost to Italy. Spain Under-21s coach Luis Fuente has been recommended for the role, but his appointment must be approved by the board, which meets on Monday.
