NYSC Gets New Overseer

The Federal Government has appointed Christy Uba as the overseer of the National Youth Service Corps, NYSC.

According to a statement signed by the Director, Press and Public Relations, Eddy Megwa, Uba took over the leadership of the corps, being the most senior director in the scheme.

The statement added that she will serve in the capacity of an Overseer, pending the appointment of a substantive Director General by the President.

Her appointment followed the sacking of Mohammad Fadah by President Muhammadu Buhari.
