Reaction Trails NASU Demand of Tax Exemption for Workers

Non-Academic Staff Union of Educational and Associated Institutions NASU has charged the Federal Government to grant tax exemption to Nigerian workers both in the public and private sectors.

Reacting to the development with Boss Radio News, a lecturer of Federal polytechnic Nekede, Nkeiru Ogburie says taxation is necessary for the government as it aids provision of social amenities.

 

Kennedy Njoku a civil servant added that the economy will not be sustained without taxation.

 

Chigozie Onuoha suggests that salaries should be increased as at when due.
