The President General of Ohanaeze Ndigbo Worldwide, George Obiozor has stated that the unity of Nigeria must be renegotiated for it to survive the prevailing circumstances.

Obiozor made this known at a public lecture held at the Nigeria Institute of International Affairs, NIIA, in Victoria Island, Lagos State.

He lamented that despite the best efforts of the past and present leaders to foster enduring unity, Nigeria’s unity is still not guaranteed.

The President General noted that if the country must be salvaged, leaders must begin to face reality and stop the syndrome of self deception and delusion about Nigeria’s historical exceptionalism.
