NANS Urges NSCDC to Intensify Efforts to End Illegal Bunkering

The National Association of Nigerian Students NANS has called on the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps NSCDC to put more effort in their operations to bring to an end the activities of illegal oil bunkers in Ogun State.

NANS disclosed in a statement jointly signed by the National President Ogunrombi Gbemileke in Abuja.

According to the statement, NANS are appalled by the boldness of illegal bunkers to move subsidised petroleum products in tankers to other countries through the porous border areas around Ogun State.

it noted that the union would maintain its resoluteness in speaking against aberrations and any development that is inconsistent with the communal values or detrimental to the sustainability of collective existence.
