Filmmaker Ordered to Pay $7.5m in Rape Suit

Oscar-winning filmmaker Paul Haggis has been ordered to pay $7.5m in damages after being found liable for raping a woman.

Hugging her lawyers after the civil trial in New York, Breest said she was very grateful for the verdict.

Haggis denies the allegations and has pledged to continue to fight with his team, to clear his name.
