The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, NDLEA, has revealed that strengthened collaboration among African countries will help surmount the frightening challenge of illicit drug trafficking and abuse.
Chairman of the Agency, Buba Marwa made the revelation at the ongoing 30th Conference of Heads of Drug Law Enforcement Agencies Africa, in Nairobi, Kenya.
He harped on the need for a national co-ordination mechanism that will ensure coordinated action against the menace.
The Chairman called for harnessing of all the stakeholders by the national drug focal agency.
Minister of Aviation, Hadi Sirika, has said Nigeria would soon get a national carrier. Sirika made this known when he appeared before the House of Representatives Committee on Aviation for the 2023 budget defence in Abuja.
