The combined market capitalization of stocks worth over one trillion depreciated by 0.92% to close at N17.17 trillion from N17.44 trillion the previous week.

This shows a loss of N160 billion during the week under review.

Death Toll from Tanzania Plane Crash Rises

Tanzania’s Prime Minister, Kassim Majaliwa, has announced that the death toll from Sunday’s plane crash has jumped to 19. The plane, which departed from the commercial capital, crashed while attempting to land during stormy weather.
