NYSC Announces Mandatory Medical Fitness Test

The National Youth Service Corps, NYSC, has announced that prospective corps members will henceforth be required to present fitness certificates from recognized public health facilities at orientation camps.

A statement signed by the Director of Press and Public Relations of the Corps, Eddy Megwa, stated that the new policy begins with the 2022 Batch ‘C’ Orientation Course.

According to a statement, the certificate of fitness will become a requirement for registration at camps.

It added that the scheme will avail credible information on their health status and also protect them from exploitation by unscrupulous persons.
