The National Association of Nigerian Students, NANS, has condemned the recent attack on Nigerian students in Delhi, India.

A statement signed by the National Vice President, External, Babatunde Akinteye, described the attack as racist, noting that the well-being of Nigerian students in the Diaspora should be protected.

The statement called on the High Commissioner of Nigeria to India, Chris Eze, and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to put a stop to violence against Nigerian students in the Diaspora.

It, however, urged Nigerian students in India to keep calm and maintain their safety in these unsafe times.
