Kogi State Governor, Yahaya Bello, has withdrawn from a suit seeking to stop the conduct of the 2023 presidential election.

Bello bowed out of the suit praying to prohibit the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, from conducting 2023 election on the ground that his presidential ambition is no longer under threat.

In his ruling, the presiding Judge, Inyang Edem Ekwo, struck out the governor’s name from the suit based on the withdrawal application.
