Federal Government Commence Review of Land Use Act

The Federal Government has commenced a process to review the Land Use Act.

Director, Lands and Housing of the Federal Ministry of Works and Housing, Godwin Ityoachimin, disclosed this at the 27th conference of Directors of Lands in the Federal and State ministries.

Ityoachimin stated that it is necessary to commence the process due to numerous frictions between state and federal governments on land administration.

Amusan Listed for Women’s World Athlete of the Year

The world 100m hurdles champion and world record holder, Tobi Amusan, has been listed among the 10 nominees for the Women’s World Athlete of the Year. The World Athletics made this known in a statement released on its website on Wednesday. The body mentioned that the 10 nominees had been selected by an international panel of athletics experts, from all six continental areas of World Athletics.
