Sanwo-Olu Announces Salary Increment for Lagos Civil Servants

Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has announced a salary increment for public workers in the state.

Sanwo-Olu made the announcement on a courtesy visit to the Head, Office of Public Service on Tuesday.

According to the Governor, the increment would be above the Federal Government’s minimum wage standard.

He also promised to pay all the outstanding backlog of pensions to workers by the end of October.

FG Warns Against Fake Recruitment in Nigerian Air

The Federal Government has described the website and links used for recruitment advertisements of Nigeria Air Limited as fake. A statement issued by the Special Assistant, Public Affairs, to the Minister of Aviation, James Odaudu, advised Nigerians to disregard such invitations as nothing of such exercise is currently ongoing. The statement, however, urged those who applied for the earlier officially advertised positions to get authenticated information from the official website.
