The Minister of Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed, has said the country is witnessing a progressive decimation of terrorists and insurgents.
Mohammed disclosed this at a joint press conference with the Cross River State Governor, in a ceremony to mark the 2022 World Tourism Day.
He noted that the North East is again accessible because of the federal government’s efforts.
The Minister expressed joy that the renewed deployment of technology and the synergy between government security forces and private security companies have succeed in the fight against oil bunkering.
The National Assembly has rejected a bill to legalize the rotation of power in Nigeria across the six geo-political zones. The bill sponsored by the lawmaker representing Benue South, Patrick Moro, was mainly supported by the majority caucus. Moro stated that the law on power rotation in Nigeria will help improve the wrangle for power and also promote unity in the country.
