Lagos Government to Boost Universal Healthcare Coverage

Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has described health insurance as a vital tool that can be leveraged by public office holders and world leaders in a bid to achieve Universal Healthcare Coverage for citizens.

According to a statement, the governor disclosed this during an event at the Royal Institute of International Affairs, Chatham House, London.

The statement advised global think tanks to optimize institutional opportunities and partnerships for the achievement of UHC. It urged developing countries to focus on offering their residents a basic minimum set of healthcare services.
