Police Urges NANS to Shun Violence

The Niger State Police Command has advised members of the National Association of Nigerian Students, NANS, to adopt dialogue in resolving issues.

State Commissioner of Police, Monday Kuryas, gave the advice when the newly elected President of NANS, Umar Lawal, paid him a courtesy visit in his office in Minna, the State Capital.

Kuryas urged the Students to concentrate more on their Studies and shun any act capable of resulting into violence.

The Commissioner, while emphasizing the need to work together for a peaceful Society, expressed concern over the Academic Staff Union of Universities strike.
