Rivers state chapter of the Nigerian Labour Congress, NLC, has issued a seven-day ultimatum to the Nigeria Police Force to vacate the state secretariat of the union.

NLC issued the ultimatum in a communiqué signed by its state secretary, Mathew Olabe.

The communiqué accused the state government of victimization of its members through the issuance of Administrative Queries.

It threatened to resume its suspended Industrial action if the state government fails to implement the report of the tripartite committee which has lasted for over one year.
