Nutritionist Harps on the Importance of Breastfeeding

World Breastfeeding Week is celebrated annually from 1st to 7th of August, with the sole aim of creating awareness about the importance of breast feeding.
In commemoration of this year’s event, Imo State Nutrition Officer, Lois Onyike, speaks on the theme ‘Step up for Breastfeeding, Educate and Support’.

Onyike reveals that in the course of the celebration women will be educated on the management of breastfeeding.

The Officer outlines the pros and cons of breast feeding.
