Peru’s Prime Minister Anibal Torres has resigned.
In his resignation letter, Torres, said he was resigning due to personal reasons.
His resignation comes amid widening criminal investigation focused on the nation’s president, Pedro Castillo.
Castillo, has overseen unprecedented turnover in senior government posts during his administration.
The Federal Government has revealed that it approved the purchase of vehicles worth N1.4 billion for Niger Republic to tackle insecurity. Minister of Finance, Budget, and National Planning, Zainab Ahmed disclosed this in Abuja. Ahmed stated that President Muhammadu Buhari, has the right to make his own assessment of situations and give directives accordingly.
