NLC Urges Fayemi to Intervene in ASUU’s Strike

Ekiti State Chapter of the Nigeria Labour Congress, NLC, has appealed to the State Governor, Kayode Fayemi to use his position as the Chairman of the Nigerian Governors’ Forum to intervene and resolve the ongoing impasse between the Federal Government and University Workers.

Addressing newsmen in Ado Ekiti, the State Capital, the State NLC Chairman, Kolapo Olatunde noted that the situation requires urgent steps to advert consequential effects on the Nation’s Economy, Education Sector and future of the Students.

Olatunde urged Governor Fayemi to reach out to the President Muhammadu Buhari and the Minister of labour, Chris Ngige to put heads together towards bringing the issue to a logical end.
