Federal Government Appeals to NLC to Suspend Protest

The Federal Government has appealed to the Nigeria Labor Congress, NLC, to cancel its planned protest over the prolonged strike of the Academic Staff Union of Universities, ASUU.

Minister of Labor and Employment, Chris Ngige, made the appeal at a meeting with the leadership of the Congress in Abuja.

Ngige assured that efforts are ongoing to resolve the impasse in the University System.

Soludo Signs Revised Budget

Anambra State Governor, Chukwuma Soludo has signed the 2022 revised appropriation budget of N170 billion naira. Soludo commended members of the House of Assembly for being responsible and responsive to their job as lawmakers.
