Court of Appeal Affirms Governor-Elect of Osun State

The Court of Appeal in Akure, Ondo State, has affirmed the Governor-elect of Osun State, Ademola Adeleke, as the rightful Governorship Candidate of the People’s Democratic Party in the just-concluded State election.

The Court affirmed Adeleke as the Party’s Candidate while dismissing a suit by Dotun Babayemi, a Governorship Aspirant, against the Governor-elect.

Buhari Condemns Murder of Catholic Priest

President Muhammadu Buhari has condemned the murder of a Catholic Priest, John Cheitnum in Kaduna State. In a statement issued by his Spokesperson on Media and Publicity, Garba Shehu, Buhari extended his condolences to the family of the slain Priest and the Christian Association of Nigeria leadership in the State over the death of Cheitnum.
