Buhari Condemns Murder of Catholic Priest

President Muhammadu Buhari has condemned the murder of a Catholic Priest, John Cheitnum in Kaduna State.

In a statement issued by his Spokesperson on Media and Publicity, Garba Shehu, Buhari extended his condolences to the family of the slain Priest and the Christian Association of Nigeria leadership in the State over the death of Cheitnum.

The statement reassured Nigerians of his administration’s commitment to ensure the safety of lives.

Senate Passes Start-up Bill

The Senate has passed the Nigerian start-up Bill. Chairman of the Committee on ICT and Cyber Security, Oseni Yakubu, while making his presentation on Wednesday during plenary in Abuja, said the bill seeks to provide for the establishment of the National Council for Digital Innovation and Entrepreneurship. The passage of the bill followed the consideration of a report by the Committee.
