Ohanaeze Expresses Support To Ekweremadu

Ohanaeze Ndigbo Worldwide has expressed its support for former Deputy Senate President, Ike Ekweremadu.

In a statement issued on Thursday by the Chairman, Ohanaeze Council of Elders, Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu noted that the Group would not abandon Ekweremadu.

Recall that Ekweremadu and his wife, Beatrice, are facing trial in a Westminster Court in United Kingdom over alleged Minor organ harvesting.

Super Falcons Players Rivers Angels Listed for CAF Awards

Super Falcons players Asisat Oshoala, Rasheedat Ajibade, Chiamaka Nnadozie and Uchenna Kanu have been nominated for the CAF Women’s Player of the Year awards. The four players were named as part of a 30-player list of nominees. Also nominated is Super Falcons youngster Monday Gift, as well as Rivers Angels of Port Harcourt. The CAF Awards will be held on the 21st of July 2022.
