INEC Encourages Imo Residents to Join the Voter Registration Exercise

The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, has blamed the low turnout of voters in Imo state on insecurity that bedeviled the state.
The State Resident Electoral Commissioner, Chukwuemeka Ezeonu, disclosed this in an interactive session with Boss Radio News.

Ezeonu gives a rundown of recorded registrants from June 2021 to December 2021.

The Commissioner notes that the registration is for new registrants.
