Senate investigates corruption allegations against Ex-CJN

The Senate President, Ahmed Lawan has directed the Committee on Judiciary, Human Rights and Legal Matters to probe Ex- Chief Justice, Ibrahim Muhammed over allegations of corruption raised against him.

Lawan gave the directive during Plenary on Tuesday.

Recall that 14 Justices of the Supreme Court had leveled allegations of corruption against Mohammed which he denied.
