Uzodinma grants amnesty to bandits in Imo

Imo State Governor, Hope Uzodimma, has granted a 10-day amnesty to bandits operating in the State to surrender themselves and their arms for unconditional pardon.

Uzodimma who spoke at the Government House Chapel in Owerri, the State Capital warned that failure to do so would attract bombardment by the security forces in their hideouts.

The Governor noted that the government has decided to rid the forests in the State of bandits and stressed the need for bandits to take advantage of the amnesty and quit their nefarious act and surrender their arms.
