Stand Collapse in Colombia Claim Lives

At least four people have been killed and hundreds injured when a wooden stand collapsed during a bullfight in Central Colombia.

Regional Health authorities said 322 people had gone to local Public and Private hospitals after the collapse seeking treatment.

Tolima Governor, Jose Orozco said the death and injury figures were still preliminary.

Orozco added that he had asked for the traditional bullfight to be suspended in Tolima, after three others were injured in accidents in the previous day.

Immigration Dismisses Organ Donor’s Underage Claim

The Nigeria Immigration Service, NIS, has refuted claims that the Service did not vet the documents in issuing a Nigerian passport to David Nwamini, who was allegedly trafficked to the United Kingdom for organ harvesting. The Comptroller General of the NIS, Idris Jere, disclosed this while speaking to newsmen in Abuja. Jere maintained that Nwamini is 21 according to his record.
