Anambra State Governor, Chukwuma Soludo has denied report of attacking the Presidential Candidate of Labour Party, Peter Obi.
A statement issued by his Chief Press Secretary, Christian Aburime noted that the report is false and unfounded.
The statement urged the general public to disregard such report as it never emanated from the Governor.
Recall that reports had quoted Soludo as mocking members of All Progressives Grand Alliance, who dumped the Party for Labour Party.
Imo State Police Command has arrested one of the suspected killers of a Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Ahmed Gulak. The Command’s Public Relations Officer, Mike Abattam, who disclosed this on Monday, identified the arrested suspected as Anosike Chimobi. Gulak, a former aide to former President Goodluck Jonathan, was murdered by a group of armed men on May 30, 2021, during a visit to the State.
