Buhari swears-in new acting Chief Justice of Nigeria

President Muhammadu Buhari has sworn-in Olukayode Ariwoola as the acting Chief Justice of Nigeria, CJN.

Buhari administered the oath of office to Justice Ariwoola during a swearing-in ceremony held at the Council Chamber of the Presidential Villa in Abuja.

The new acting Chief Justice is expected to serve in acting capacity pending confirmation by the National Judicial Council.

Ariwoola’s appointment followed the resignation of former CJN, Justice Tanko Muhammad.

The Team ran 38.34secs on the opening day of the championships, but clocked 38.84secs in the final on Sunday.
