Buhari seeks Senate’s confirmation of Bello as RMAFC Chairman

The Senate has received a formal request from President Muhammadu Buhari to confirm Mohammed Shehu as Chairman of the Revenue Mobilization Allocation and Fiscal Commission.

The request was contained in a letter read by the Senate President, Ahmad Lawan, at plenary on Wednesday.

Sokoto Assembly confirms Commissioner nominees

Sokoto State House of Assembly has confirmed the appointment of nine Commissioner Nominees submitted by Governor Aminu Tambuwal as members of the State Executive Council. This followed the adoption of a motion by the Majority leader, Malami Basakkwace during plenary on Wednesday. Recall that Tambuwal on Tuesday had requested the confirmation of the appointment of the nominees.
