Asuu continues strike despite FG’s no work no pay directive

The Academic Staff Union of Universities, ASUU, has said the stoppage of their salaries by the government will not force them to call off the strike.
ASUU President, Emmanuel Osodeke, commended members of the Union for keeping faith despite the hardship imposed on their families as a result of the No-Work-No-Pay directive of the Federal Government.
The President noted that the resolve of the union forced the government to engage in negotiations.
