The National Security Council has revealed that the Islamic State, West African Province is behind the deadly attack on St. Francis Catholic Church, Owo, in Ondo State.
Minister of Interior, Rauf Aregbesola, disclosed this after the Council meeting presided over by President Muhammadu Buhari at the Council Chambers in Abuja.
Aregbesola said Security Agencies are closing in on the perpetrators through their traces.
The Minister also debunked notions that the attack carried an ethnic-religious tint.
Enugu State Governor, Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi has offered bursary to 165 State Students in different campuses of the Nigeria Law School across the Country. Confirming the disbursement of the bursary, the Executive Secretary, State Scholarship Board, Uche Abonyi, disclosed that each of the beneficiaries received the sum of N100,000 from the State government. Abonyi, however, urged the Students to be good ambassadors of the State.
