Ortom task international community to address herdsmen terrorism

Benue State Governor, Samuel Ortom, urged the International community to put pressure on the Federal Government to address the unbaiting acts of terrorism by armed herdsmen in the Country without religious or ethnic bias.

Ortom made the appeal in a statement signed by his Chief Press Secretary, Nathaniel Ikyur, on Tuesday in Abuja.

According to the statement, the inability of the federal government to act swiftly to tame the rise of terror attacks on communities in the country for many years must be put to an end.
