Anambra State Police Command has confirmed an attack on the State-owned Broadcasting Service.
A statement issued on Monday by the Command’s Public Relations Officer, Toochukwu Ikenga, disclosed that no life was lost in the incident.
The statement noted that the suspected Arsonists could not gain access into the Studio, but burnt two Operational Vehicles belonging to the Station.
It added that the Station has been cordoned off and operation is ongoing in the area.
Emma Raducanu will play in June's Nottingham Open. Raducanu was set to make her first appearance in front of a British crowd since winning the US Open at the Birmingham Classic. Her clay court-swing came to an end when she lost in the French Open second round on Wednesday.
