Anyanwu-Akeredolu withdraws from Senatorial race

Ondo State First Lady, Betty Anyanwu-Akeredolu, has withdrawn from the Senatorial race of the All Progressives Congress for Imo East in Imo State.

A statement issued on Sunday by Anyanwu-Akeredolu noted that intimidations on her are reasons for the withdrawal.

The statement, however, appreciated Ada Owere Team and Supporters who stood by her during the Campaign Period.

The Apex Igbo Socio-Political Organization, Ohanaeze Ndigbo Worldwide, has said the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, Presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, will never become Nigeria’s President. Ohanaeze Secretary-General, Okechukwu Isiguzoro, made the remark while denouncing the PDP Presidential Primary that produced Atiku as the Party’s Flag bearer.
