The Apex Igbo Socio-Political Organization, Ohanaeze Ndigbo Worldwide, has said the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, Presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, will never become Nigeria’s President.
Ohanaeze Secretary-General, Okechukwu Isiguzoro, made the remark while denouncing the PDP Presidential Primary that produced Atiku as the Party’s Flag bearer.
Isiguzoro stressed that the Igbo would rise against PDP and Atiku, adding that his Presidential campaign would be rejected in the South-East.
Former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar emerged the Flag bearer of the People’s Democratic Party for the 2023 Presidential election. Atiku polled 371 votes to defeat his closest rival, Nyeson Wike who polled 237 votes. The former Vice President pledged to unify the Country following his victory in the Party’s Primary poll.
