Alia wins APC Governorship ticket in Benue

A Popular Priest, Hyacinth Alia emerged as the Governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress in Benue State.

Alia won 12 out of the 23 Local Government Areas of the State with a total of 464,391 votes.

Recalled that Alia was suspended by the Bishop of Gkoko Catholic Diocese for engaging in partisan Politics.

Anyanwu-Akeredolu withdraws from Senatorial race

Ondo State First Lady, Betty Anyanwu-Akeredolu, has withdrawn from the Senatorial race of the All Progressives Congress for Imo East in Imo State. A statement issued on Sunday by Anyanwu-Akeredolu noted that intimidations on her are reasons for the withdrawal. The statement, however, appreciated Ada Owere Team and Supporters who stood by her during the Campaign Period.
