Makinde wins Oyo Governorship Primaries

Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde, has been declared winner of the People’s Democratic Party’s governorship primary election in the state.

The Returning Officer, Abdulahi Maibasira, declared Makinde winner of the contest having scored the highest number of valid votes cast.

According to Maibasira, the Governor polled 1,040 votes to defeat his rival, Hazeem Gbolarumi, who had two votes.

PSG Suspends Women’s Head Coach

Paris Saint-Germain women's Head Coach, Didier Olle-Nicolle has been suspended for inappropriate actions towards members of the Club. According to the Club, Olle-Nicolle will be placed on leave until the conclusion of an internal investigation by the French Team. Olle-Nicolle took charge of PSG at the end of last season following their D1 Feminine title success.
