Cross River government decry increased incidence of Gender-Based violence

Cross River State Government has decried the increasing incidences of Sexual and Gender-Based Violence in parts of the State.

State Commissioner, Ministry of International Development Cooperation, Inyang Asibong, raised the alarm during the training on Guidance and Counselling for Secondary School Teachers in Calabar, the State Capital.

Asibong who lamented the increased incidences of rape of minors and those of school ages by adults, appealed for a reduction in the number of violent crimes against women and girls in the State.
