INEC Assures of Credible Election in Osun

The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, has said it is not under any illusion about its processes for optimal performance in the July 16 Governorship elections in Osun state.

Board Chairman of the Electoral Institute, Abdullahi Zuru disclosed this at the Pre-election Survey Methodology Workshop held at Osogbo, the state capital.

According to Zuru, the Commission had made tremendous progress in reducing electoral malpractices.

The Chairman assured that the Commission will ensure that electoral processes are free from issues that could jeopardize the election.
