UN Deputy Secretary General Calls for Justice Over Deborah’s Killing

United Nations Deputy Secretary-General, Amina Muhammed, has called for justice over the killing of Deborah Samuel in Sokoto state.

Muhammed who disclosed this on her official Twitter page, stated that religion should not be misinterpreted to preach violence.

Yakubu, a second-year student of the Sheu Shagari College of Education, Sokoto state, was lynched in the school premises after classmates accused her of blasphemy.
