Anambra State Governor, Chukwuma Soludo has called for the immediate release of the member representing Aguata 2 in the State House of Assembly, Okechukwu Okoye.
A statement issued by his Chief Press Secretary, Christian Aburime, condemned the abduction.
The statement condoled with families who lost their loved ones and property as a result of the kidnap.
Recall that Okoye and his Campaign Director were kidnapped by gunmen on Sunday.
Liverpool's top scorer Mohamed Salah and defender Virgil van Dijk have been ruled out of Tuesday's Premier League game at Southampton. Salah and Van Dijk went off during Saturday's FA Cup final win over Chelsea at Wembley. The club’s coach, boss Jurgen Klopp is confident both will return for Sunday's season finale against Wolves at Anfield.
