Amaechi Resigns as Minister

The Minister of Transportation Rotimi Amaechi has resigned from President Muhammadu Buhari’s cabinet.

This was contained in a statement issued by Amaechi’s Presidential Media Committee.

The statement expressed gratitude to Buhari for finding him worthy to serve as a Minster in his cabinet.

It noted that the Transportation Ministry recorded significant achievement since the inception of the current administration.

Recall that the President had ordered his Ministers and appointees with political ambition to resign.
