Minister of Women Affairs, Pauline Tallen, has withdrawn from the Senatorial race to retain her Ministerial position.
Tallen made this known in a statement issued on Monday.
According to the statement, she came to the decision after consultations with her constituents and thought it wise to withdraw from the race.
Novak Djokovic has won his first title of the year at the Italian Open in Rome. Djokovic beat Stefanos Tsitsipas 6-0 7-6 (7-5) to take the clay-court title. The World number one will be one of the favorites as he chases a record-equaling 21st Grand Slam at the French Open, which starts next Sunday in Paris.
