Lagos State Police Command has arrested four suspects over the killing of a young man by commercial motorcyclists in the Lekki area of the State.
This was disclosed by the Command’s Public Relations Officer, Benjamin Hundeyin on Sunday.
According to Hundeyin, the victim, who was a Sound Engineer, was lynched and burnt to death after a misunderstanding ensued with one of the commercial motorcyclists.
The PPRO while advocating against jungle justice, added that the command will ensure prosecution of everyone involved.
Akwa Ibom State University has achieved full accreditation status in all its Academic Programmes. Vice Chancellor, Nse Essien, who disclosed this at a media interaction with newsmen attributed the feat to deliberate effort and investment. While thanking the State Governor, Udom Emmanuel Management, Staff and Students for the feat, the VC promised to sustain the accreditation.
