Moghalu Joins Presidential Race

A Former Deputy Governor of Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN, Kingsley Moghalu has joined the Presidential race on the platform of the African Democratic Congress, ADC.

Moghalu picked up the ADC Presidential Expression of Interest and Nomination form in Abuja.

The Presidential Aspirant promised to invest in education sector which according to him will help curb the challenges of insecurity and youth unemployment in the country.

Senate to Intervene in ASUU Strike

Senate President, Ahmad Lawan has said the Upper Chamber will mediate in the ongoing strike action embarked by the Academic Staff Union of Universities, ASUU. Speaking with officials of the National Association of Nigerian Students, NANS, Lawan faulted the 2009 agreement between the Federal Government and ASUU. The Senate President, however, appealed to the Students to avoid confrontation and disruption of Political activities.
